- Taylor Gang rapper Juicy J announced the release date for his upcoming album ' Stay Trippy'. It will be in stores on August 27th. Juicy's album will be released on the same day as Big Sean's album 'Hall Of Fame' and The Weeknd's album. Stay Trippy has plenty features on it.

- The Game keeps making music. He dropped in the past days 2 remixes and 1 song were he appeared on.
The first remix Game dropped was the 'Versace (remix)' and the second remix he dropped the 'This D (remix). He appeared on the song with Clyde Carson called 'Pour Up' featuring Young Jeezy.

- The official first week sales were revealed for Jay Z's new album 'Magna Carta Holy Grail'. The album sold in his first week 528,208 copies. On the day that the album was releases in the USA. RIAA certified the album already platinum selling 1,000,000 copies due to the unprecedented digital download deal with Samsung.

- J.Cole, Drake , Kendrick Lamar and A$AP Rocky representing Hip Hop in this years  MTV VMA 's.
Drake with 'Started From The Bottom'' , Kendrick Lamar with 'Swimming Pools' and A$AP Rocky with 'Fckng Problems' are both nominated in the same category for Best Hip Hop video. Drake's 'Started From The Bottom' is also nominated for Best Editing.

-  A couple months ago, Wiz Khalifa announced that he signed a deal with Converse. Now it's revealed that the Wiz Khalifa Converse shoes will be available in Foot Locker on August 23th.

- Again Kanye West attacks a photographer. This time at LAX. The photographer asked Kanye some questions but Kanye West wasn't in the mood for answering questions . Kanye warmed the photographer  not to do that, Kanye grabbed the man and wrestle his camera away from him.
